Transurban Profits

Australian toll road operator Transurban (ASX:TCL), have reported a net profit of $59.4 million for the financial year. An improvement on a loss of $24.6 million from the previous year.

Transurban Dividends

Transurban have declared a final distribution of 12 cents per stapled security will be paid on 27 August 2010 in respect of the six months ended 30 June 2010. This brings total distribution for the financial year ended 30 June 2010 to 24 cents per stapled security.

Transurban Results Highlights

  • Toll revenue increased 6.8% to $773.9 million
  • Proportional EBITDA increased 13.1% to $629.9 million
  • Underlying proportional EBITDA increased 13.0% to $606.9 million
  • Underlying free cash from operations increased 31.8% to $347.5 million
  • Statutory EBITDA grew 10 per cent to $527.5 million (Profit before depreciation and amortisation, net finance costs, equity accounted investments and tax)
