Telstra
Telstra (ASX:TLS) annual profit fell 17 percent with net profit at $3.231 billion for the year to June 30, down from $3.883 billion last period. Revenue added 0.7 percent to $25.09 billion while earnings were down 6.4 percent to $10.15 billion from $10.85 billion last year. The company declared a fully-franked final dividend of 14 cents, with full year payout at 28 cents.
Webjet
Webjet Limited (ASX:WEB) posted net profit of $11.006 million, up from $10.517 million last year. Revenue added 18 percent higher at $45.719 million from $38.877 million in 2009-10. Webjet declared a final dividend of six cents, fully franked. Full year dividend is 11 cents, up from 10.5 cents last period.
Nick Scali
Nick Scali (ASX:NCK) posted $11.6 million net profit for the 12 months to June 30, a 3.1 percent increase from $11.255 million the previous year. Revenue rose 3.8 percent to $100 million from $96.365 million last year. Profit before tax rose 4.5 percent to $16.809 million. The company declared a final dividend of 4.5 cents, fully franked. Total dividend for the year is 9 cents, fully franked.
SingTel
SingTel (ASX:SGT) first-quarter net profit dropped 2.9 percent while net profit for first quarter ended June 30 was S$916.2 million, compared with S$943.2 million a year earlier. Operating revenue for the quarter increased 7.4 percent to S$4.61 billion from S$4.29 billion. Dividend was not declared.
Codan Limited
Codan Limited (ASX:CDA) posted a record $21.8 million annual profit after tax, compared to a $14.4 million profit the previous year. Underlying profit dropped to $23.4 million this year from $31.1 million last year. Revenue also fell to $169.3 million from $189.3 million. Dividend was not announced.
Alumina LTD
Alumina Limited (ASX:AWC) increased first half profit by 53 percent with net profit rising to US$67.7 million for the six months to June 30. This was up from US$44.2 million the previous year. The company will pay US3 cents interim dividend, full franked, up from US2 cents the previous year.
News Corp.
News Corporation (ASX:NWS) reported a net profit of $2.64 billion for the 12 months to June 30, up 7.9 percent from $2.45 billion the previous year. The company raised its quarterly dividend to 9.5 cents a share from 7.5 cents previously, a 27 percent increase.
