Aristocrat Leisure Half Year Financial Report 2012

Gaming machine manufacturer and supplier, Aristocrat Leisure (ASX: ALL) have released their half year financial results for FY 2012 to the ASX stockmarket.

  • First half net profit for Aristocrat Leisure of $34.7 million, up 39 percent.
  • Revenue increased by 27.7 percent to $399.3 million, in the six months to June 30. Previous revenue for same previous period was $24.9 million.
  • Aristocrat Leisure CEO Jamie Odell said, " We had a strong finish in our gaming operations business in the US … and then in Japan the last game Kurroganeno Linebarrels proved to be very successful. That and continued momentum in Australia - those things ticked us just above the top end of guidance."
  • Debt is down 24 percent or $223.3 million in the first half, while operating cash flows almost doubled.
  • Aristocrat Leisure has declared an interim unfranked dividend of 4 cents per share, ex-dividend date of 31/8/2012. This compares with a 2.5 cent unfranked interim dividend in the previous corresponding 1H period.
  • ALL shares jumped 19 cents or 7.39 percent to $2.76 per share on the ASX stockmarket Tuesday close.
