4C Security Solutions (FCS) is an international technology company dedicated in providing high end security solutions incorporating Biometric, Smart Card and Data Encryption technology for the Military & Government, Industrial & Medical, Transport, Entertainment & Lifestyle and Corporate & Private sector businesses. Investors can trade 4C Security Solutions shares on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX).
FCS is a publicly listed company on the Australian stock market on 10 July, 1986 and are internationally recognised with offices also located in London, Los Angeles, Shanghai and Chennai. It was established in Sydney in 1995 and grew quickly through international orders in the USA. The company remains a leader in Mifare Contactless Smart Card and Biometric Access Solutions, expanding into smarter more innovative high security solutions to suit the demands put on security requirements in across the world today.
FCS provides user privacy security within a complete range of access control solutions from hardware to software. It manufactures a wide range of Access Control Readers and Data Encryption devices and develops software solutions to suit either physical or logical security requirements. FCS differs from its competitors because they do not work to a proprietary format. Its products are classified as an Open System allowing customers to have far greater control over the end users requirements.
Major competitors would be other technological firms both domestic and international that specialises in high security solutions. Customers consist of critical industries for security measures such as medical, financial services, construction, entertainment and defence. Specialising in access control systems, CCTV and surveillance systems, biometric and smart card technology, and customized developments for selected clients, 4C Security Solutions' strategy is to diversify and expand its activities in the security and surveillance technology sector.
4C Security Solutions Limited is focused on relaunching its BQT branded SmaX access control system and supporting sales of existing company technologies of biometrics, smart card readers, CCTV cameras and customized solutions for selected key clients. 4C Satellites (formerly BQT Satellites, currently 20% owned by 4C Security Solutions Limited) will focus on design, building and operation of small synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites dedicated for earth observation and surveillance.
4C Satellites has finalised the establishment of an Italian joint venture company with Politechnico di Torino ("Polito"), one of the leading European technology scientific research institutes and technology partners for the satellite project. The new joint venture company named BQT Polito Space Technologies SPA ("BP Space") has been established as an Italian private stock company. 4C Satellites intends to seek listing on the Australian Stock Exchange through an initial public offering.
