Adamus Resources Limited (ADU) is an Australian based mineral exploration company basically engaged in gold production. Its business operates in two geographical segments, Australia and Africa. Adamus was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on the 7th of June, 2001.The Company’s project involves Ashanti Gold Belt, settled in south-western Ghana, West Africa, roughly 280 kilometers westerly of Accra. The Project consists of a close block of granted tenure, covering roughly 500 square kilometers. Adamus has a 90% share of the project with the Ghanian government holding a statutory 10% interest.
The other projects in which Adamus is engaged are Bollinger Diamond Project, Nabberu Diamond Project and Serpentine Nickel Project. Adamus's project area hosts both the Salman and Anwia deposits, containing a combined resource base of 22 metric ton. It holds 100% interest in the Serpentine Ridge exploration license, and 40% interest in Bonds Range exploration license and Selina exploration license. Nkroful Mining Limited which owns the Anwia South project was acquired by Adamus on July 24, 2006.
Currently the main focus of the Adamus is on realising the economic potential of the 90% owned Southern Ashanti Gold Project in Ghana, West Africa, where an existing gold mineral resource is already identified by drilling. Adamus customers mainly include governments, banks and international gold brokers.
