Adeffective (ABN) produces and post produces feature films, television series, cinema and television commercials, music videos, television advertising and other audio-visual content for many Australian corporations. It has three divisions: Digital Production and Post Production (Swish Media); Digital Video on Demand (Swish Interactive); and Digital Signage.
The Digital Media segment engages in sourcing, aggregating, distributing and marketing a range of text, audio, and video digital media content both on a B2B and B2C basis in medical centres, hospitals, and pharmacies. It also involves in the activities relating to Internet television, digital signage, online digital content, and product and service sales and marketing businesses.
The Telecommunications segment provides marketing and sales services for telecommunications companies. The Online Search and Advertising segment engages in Internet advertising and search engine marketing of products or services over the Internet. In addition, the company operates as a wholesaler of independent digital music to online music retailers and telecommunication companies.
AdEffective Limited was formerly known as The Swish Group Limited and changed its name in December, 2010. The company was incorporated in 1998 and is based in Melbourne, Australia. The company listed on the ASX on May 2003. In 2004, it acquired Public Transport Media Business and also the Good Health and Gymvision TV networks. It acquired 51% of Black Cat Production Group in September, 2005.
Adeffective (ABN) uses innovative non-linear digital colour grading and visual effects compositing techniques in their post production work. This enables Swish Media to deliver a finished product of superior quality at lower production cost than using traditional methods. It has carried out post production work on Honda's advertising campaigns and several Channel 7 shows.
Major customers of Adeffective (ABN) include artists, record companies and TV networks. Clients for its Digital Video on Demand and Digital Signage services include hotels, gymnasiums and apartments. Competitors include other post production companies and suppliers of digital video technology.
