Alloy Resources (AYR) is a mining and exploration company engaged in exploration of gold in the top end of the Yandal Greenstone Belt in Western Australia. It is also working to get a mineral exploration project granted in the Lao PDR (Laos), that has excellent potential for hosting a world class copper-gold deposit. The company's principal projects are the Comet-Webb's Patch and the Horse Well project. AYR was listed on the ASX on April 6, 2006. Its tenement holdings are situated mainly in Western Australia. The Comet - Webb's Patch project is a pre-development project sited approximately 600 kilometers to the north-west of Perth. The Horse Well project is a pre-development and advanced exploration gold project having 78,178 ounces of gold. It is situated 90 kilometers to the north-east of Wiluna in Western Australia, on the northern most extension of the Archaean Yandal Greenstone Belt.
Alloy owns the right to earn 51% in the 88 Creek project which is a joint venture between Alloy and North Australian Diamonds Limited. The Company’s Doyle's Dam project operates in a gold producing region situated 45 kilometers to the west-north-west of Kalgoorlie. It covers the Doyle's Dam granodiorite, where geochemical gold anomalies coincident to fault structures within the granodiorite were discovered by the previous exploration. AYR took over Eskay Resources Pty Ltd during the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006.
