AnaeCo (ANQ) is a waste treatment research and development company which provides alternative solutions to dealing with Municipal Solid Waste (MSW). The company was created with a purpose of commercialising the DiCOM® System for recycling MSW. AnaeCo listed on ASX on 13 February, 2008.ANQ provides a complete project package which comprises feasibility studies, securing regulatory approvals, project finance, technology delivery, operation and maintenance, as well as marketing the process outputs of electricity and both recovered and recycled materials. The Company’s key projects are DiCOM process pilot plant and the Western Metropolitan Regional Council (WMRC) DiCOM facility. The Company’s WMRC project includes the construction of a 55,000 tons per annum (tpa) municipal solid waste (MSW) treatment service using the DiCOM system.
The DiCOM system consists of advanced sorting, recycling, anaerobic digestion and aerobic composting to recycle municipal solid waste (MSW) into renewable energy from biogas, agricultural grade compost and recyclables like steel, aluminum, glass and plastics, which guarantees maximum diversion from landfill and promise social, economic and environmentally sustainable management of MSW.
AnaeCo has a highly experienced team engaged in the design, manufacturing, commissioning, operation and maintenance services for DiCOM AWT facilities, also focused on the management of all outputs comprising renewable energy, compost, recyclable materials and non-recyclable residuals.
The DiCOM process has proven to be a complete 21st Century solution to the global challenge of environmentally responsible MSW management. Its competitive advantage over existing Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) processes lies in its capability to integrate with the established urban environment.
