Anchor Resources (AHR) is a mineral explorer with a diversified portfolio of highly prospective projects located all over New South Wales and Queensland. The company has an extensive portfolio of projects ranging from commodities comprising gold, antimony, copper, and uranium, together with other base metals. Anchor Resources was listed on ASX on July 5, 2007. Anchor Resources’ Bielsdown project includes an antimony resource, with gold credits, that is open both along strike and at depth. The Blicks tenement area is mineralized with identified gold and has prospects for copper. Anchor holds license for the Aspiring Uranium Project in a prospective terrain for uranium mineralization. Anchor Resources got the hold of Bielsdown (EL6388), Blicks (EL6465), Aspiring (EPM14752) and Greenvale East (EPM14646) mineral properties by purchasing Scorpio Resources Pty Ltd and Sandy Resources Pty Ltd (Sandy Resources). Anchor Resources took over the Birdwood property (EL6459) from Eastmin Pty Ltd (wholly owned subsidiary of Jindalee Resources Ltd) and Norvale Pty Ltd in January 2007.
The Company has a highly qualified management team having considerable skills and global experience in exploration, mining, finance and stockbroking. The Company aims to discover mineral properties of high potential in which particular prospects can be quickly commenced in a cost effective manner. This consists of attracting joint ventures to introduce specialist technical expertise and share risk.
