Archer Exploration (AXE) is a mineral exploration company engaged in the discovery of world-class deposits on the Stuart Shelf of the Gawler Craton, South Australia. The Company explores Olympic Dam style iron oxide-copper-gold-uranium (IOCG-U) deposits, and sediment–hosted uranium deposits in the Gawler Craton of South Australia. Archer Exploration listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 14th August 2007. The Company’s portfolio comprises of eight mineral exploration interests covering a total of 5,693 kilometers, with 100% interest in all of its exploration titles.

Archer has a high-priority target in the Evelyn Dam gravity anomaly which has early geophysical characteristics as of Olympic Dam and the current Carrapateena discovery. The Company's primary task will be to drill test the Evelyn Dam anomaly. It will also extend geophysical coverage across the remaining of its 100%-owned tenure to classify already known anomalies, and to find out new anomalies, in this region. Some of its tenements also have prospective for sediment-hosted and rollfront styles of uranium mineralization. Its Carappee Hill Project on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula has 57% of iron ore grades and 38% of manganese grades. Archer is conducting further exploration at Carappee Hill and is evaluating a range of options for the advance development of this exciting project.
