Ariadne Australia History
The Company was established in NSW in 1964. It commenced its operations as Australian Mutual Growth Fund Ltd. Later the Company was renamed to ARA in 1982, with the State of incorporation also changed to Queensland. In the mid-1980s, the Company carried out a big diversification program that was largely funded. Soon afterward, ARA has to face financial problems. Consequently most businesses were dissociated, with the proceeds used to cut back its high gearing. Now, ARA is principally focused on the property development and investment.
Ariadne's aims to seek and capitalise on innovative investment opportunities that offer balanced long and short term financial outcomes together with reducing the shareholder exposure through strategic diversification policies.
