Atticus Resources (ACZ) is a gold explorer principally engaged in the acquirement and searching of gold projects in Western Australia. ACZ listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on October 31, 2007. Atticus Resources was formed in April 2007 and its head office is located in Nedlands, Australia. The Company has three projects located in the eastern Goldfields Province of the Yilgarn Craton, Western Australia which comprises Hartwell Bore project, the Yundamindera project and the Harris Find project. Its Hartwell Bore project is situated about 575 kilometers to northeast of Perth and 32 kilometers to east-northeast of Leinster. Its Yundamindera gold project is situated in the Eastern Goldfields province of the Yilgarn Craton which is 685 kilometers northeast of Perth and 205 kilometers north-northeast of Kalgoorlie. Its Harris Find project is situated about 65 kilometers east-southeast of Wiluna on the western border of the northern Yandal greenstone belt and 750 kilometers northeast of Perth, Western Australia. The Company’s Harris Find and Hartwell Bore projects are deemed as prospective for gold deposits.
ACZ completed the acquisition of its 100% owned subsidiary, APG Resources Pty Ltd on May 8, 2007. During the fiscal 2007, Atticus announced to acquire the interests in various tenements, encompassing ELA 36/653; E 53/783; P 53/1241; P 53/1242; E 39/1110, and ELA 39/1249 via its wholly owned subsidiary APG Resources.
