The Company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 22 October, 2007. The Company has five exploration projects in the Lachlan Fold Belt in the central west of NSW targeting copper-gold and nickel deposits. The region is highly prospective for mineralisation especially copper, gold and base metals deposits. On November 5, 2007, Augur sold off all of the issued share capital in Ark Mines Limited, which it held since the incorporation of Ark Mines Ltd. The Company is conducting a drilling program at Yeoval, located northwest of Orange, NSW, to define to JORC compliance its copper, gold and molybdenum project. At Collerina, NSW, the Company’s drilling operations are focused on the definition and extension of nickel-cobalt mineralisation. The goal of the drilling program is to also identify a JORC compliant resource. Augur is also assessing further exploration opportunities on its existing exploration tenements for additional porphyry or high-grade lode copper-gold resources. The company has assembled a well-balanced Board and Management team with wide experience in NSW and porphyry copper-gold exploration.
