Aurox Resources (AXO) is a mineral exploration company mainly searching for gold and copper. The Company's tenements are chiefly held in Australia. Aurox principal projects are situated in the West Pilbara and Yalgoo regions of Western Australia. It listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 22 October, 2004. Aurox core projects consist of Balla Balla project and Yalgoo iron ore project. The Balla Balla project is located near the West Pilbara coast. Aurox completed two bankable feasibility studies (BFS) on Balla Balla project, one for the production of ferrovanadium and a second for the production of iron ore concentrate. Balla Balla project host to the largest vanadium Mineral Resource in Australia and is 100% owned by the Company. The ore at Balla Balla is a vanadium-titanium-rich magnetite, and Aurox initially accomplished a BFS for the production of 5,800 tons of ferrovanadium or a V2O5 equivalent. Balla Balla is a titanomagnetite iron ore deposit.

The Company also owns 100% of the Yalgoo iron ore project which is prospective for gold, copper, and platinum group metals. Aurox has started testing iron ore targets at Yalgoo project, sited in the mid-west iron ore region of Western Australia. The Company signed a three million tons per annum sales agreement with a Chinese steel and vanadium producer. Later it completed a BFS for the mining, production and transport of three million tons of iron ore concentrate annually from its Balla Balla project.
