Ausenco (AAX) is engaged in the provision of engineering and project management facilities to the mining and minerals processing industries worldwide. Its portfolio of operations comprises engineering procurement, construction supervision, project administration, commissioning and management of mineral processing plants activities. Ausenco listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on June 15, 2006. The Company is organized into two business divisions: Engineering and Projects, and Operations and Maintenance. Ausenco's operations are located in Australia, New Zealand, Africa, the Americas, Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Outside of Australia, the Company’s primary focus is on the Engineering and Projects sector. Ausenco completed the acquisition of Pipeline Systems Incorporated in February, 2008. It took over Sandwell International Inc. and Vector Engineering Inc in March 2008.

Ausenco offers a wide variety of services covering all areas of project development. At present, Ausenco have five business entities functioning under a common corporate structure which comprises Ausenco Minerals, Ascentis, Pipeline Systems Incorporated, Sandwell and Vector. Thus, AAX provides a complete set of solutions to its extensive client base worldwide, ranging from top multinationals to mid-level and junior resource companies. Ausenco is a specialist in innovative process design. It uses latest technology and innovative design techniques to enhance the operations and performance in order to provide quality results to its clientele in every project it carries out. At the core of Company’s success are its highly skilled and competitive personnel that make up its global workforce. Ausenco History

Ausenco started its business operations in Brisbane in 1991. It opened an office in Perth in 1995. It commenced its first offshore project, Chatree Gold Project in Thailand, in 2000. In 2001, it commenced its first African project, North Mara Gold in Tanzania. It appointed Wanye Goss as chairman and awarded Sepon Copper Gold Project in Laos in 2002. It founded Ascentis in 2003. Auscenco opened China office, won Queensland Export Award and Australian Export Award for its services and commenced its first China project Jinfeng Gold BIOX® Project in year 2004. In 2005, it opened Americas office, received Australian Engineering Excellence Awarad and signed first alliance contract with QNI.

In 2006, it awarded first Americas project in Mexico and Argentina, awarded key projects in Australia, Laos, Vietnam and Zambia and opened office in Manila. It was also the winner of Queenland Export Award and Australian Export Award in 2006. It opened Bangkok office, Vencouver office and established Ausenco foundation in 2007. It acquired PSI, Sandwell and Vector Enginneering in 2008. It also opened office in Johhennsberg and opened Ausenco Project Academy the same year. Ausenco has made a rapid growth during the past three years. It generated revenue at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 69% with EBIT growth at a CAGR of 124%.
