AusQuest (AQD) is a mineral exploration Company primarily focused on the nickel sulphide and gold deposits across Australia. Core projects of the Company are Drummond, Horsetrack, Table Hill, Antrim, Beasley, Plenty River, Bellary, Rocklea and Sylvania. AusQuest listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 25th November, 2003. The Company started a reverse circulation (RC)/diamond drilling program of about at least 6,000 metres in April 1997, in order to test its portfolio of nickel projects in the Pilbara region for the several nickel sulphide targets as specified by the airborne and/or ground electromagnetic (EM) surveys. The Company completed 16 holes in total for 3,700 metres as of June 30, 2007.
The Beasley project holds three exploration licences which cover an area of 150 square kilometers and it is situated in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Apart from financially supporting the exploration activities, Falconbridge can offer a high degree of technical expertise in both the exploration and development of new nickel ore bodies.
