Aussie Q Resources (AQR) is an exploration Company primarily searching for porphyry copper/molybdenum mineralisation near Monto, Queensland. The Company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on June 14, 2007, with a capital raising of $AUD12 million. AQR has nine highly prospective copper/molybdenum exploration permits for minerals (EPM) in the Rawbelle district close to the town of Monto in Central Queensland. The Company has 100% owned three adjacent Exploration Permits for Minerals (EPM) 14628, 15920 and 15922 to the west of Monto and two adjacent EPMs: EPM 14627 and 15919. All these projects are at various stages of development. Whitewash is the Company’s most advanced prospect at Rawbelle. The Company has partly drilled porphyry molybdenum/copper target in this region thus supporting the calculation of a Maiden Resource Statement for Whitewash. The overall exploration target at Whitewash according to the soil geochemistry and geophysics has a potential of an extent of 3km x 2km. AQR believes that Rawbelle Project area is highly prospective for the known mineralisation as delineated in the Geos Mining Report and Independent Geological Report in the AQR prospectus.
AQR Board of Directors possesses wide experience in the successful growth of green-field mining projects and holds a proven track record of exploration achievements, production and corporate issues. The Board deems that the Company is well positioned to make use of these skills in order to increase shareholder value.
