Tissue Therapies (TIS) is biotechnology company that provides wound healing, tissue repair and cell culture technology through a growth factor platform technology VitroGro®. TIS was incorporated in 2003 and listed on the Australian stock market (ASX) in March 2004. Its head office is situated in Brisbane. Probiomics (PCC) is a specialist biotechnology company focused on the development of products incorporating PCC®, a strain of Lactic Acid Bacteria (probiotic). Its probiotic products include Progastrim®, sold exclusively to naturopaths, and proTract®, a family of products for intestinal health, diarrhoea and irritable bowel syndrome and for atopic dermatitis. Both these products are listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods.
Prima Biomed (PRR) is an Australian biotechnology company with a portfolio of products focussed in the therapeutic area of cancer. The company was listed on the Australian stockmarket (ASX) in June 1988. Its headoffice is situated in Armadale, Victoria. Over the years the company has made strategic alliances with Biomira Inc, Medarex Inc, AstraZeneca, Prana and ZymoGenetics.
