Blue Energy Limited (BUL) is a rapidly evolving energy exploration company, strategically positioned with abundant Coal Seam Gas (CSG) assets throughout Queensland to meet the rising demand for cleaner power. Blue Energy Limited (BUL), formerly Energy Investments Limited (EIV), was a Western Australian based investment and corporate advisory company. BUL was incorporated in Western Australia in 1992 as Chieftain Securities Limited. It listed on the ASX in October 1994 and changed its name to Energy Investments Limited (EIV) in February 2005. Later in 2007, the company was renamed to Blue Energy Limited. In addition, the company primarily invest in small to medium-sized companies within the energy sector. Major shareholders/ customers include institutional and retail investors. Competitors are other companies with a strong energy investment portfolio.

BUL has developed an extensive CSG exploration portfolio, with an asset base of eight CSG operated petroleum exploration permits. Blue Energy also has interests in conventional assets in the Cooper/Eromanga Basin as well as offshore Papua New Guinea. BUL's headquarters are based in Brisbane, Australia, with an experienced board and technical team who have the necessary skills and experience to execute its exploration strategy.
