Brickworks Investment Company (BKI) is an investment company. The Company makes investments in a range of Australian shares, trusts and interest-bearing securities. Brickworks Investment listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on December 12, 2003. BKI’ top 10 investments as of June 30, 2008, included New Hope Corporation Limited, National Australia Bank Limited, Commonwealth Bank, BHP Billiton Limited, St George Bank Limited, Woodside Petroleum Limited, Woolworths Limited, Wesfarmers Limited, Telstra Corporation Limited and Campbell Brothers Limited. Brickworks Investment had a market capitalisation of $167.8 million as at 30 June 2004. BKI has appointed Souls Funds Management Limited to manage portfolio on behalf of BKI as well as to provide investment advisory services. BKI has also appointed Corporate and Administrative Services Pty Ltd to deliver accounting and company secretarial services. In November 2008, Huntley Investment Company Limited announced that BKI holds a total of 52.79% interest in it. Brickworks Investment intends to generate an increasing revenue stream for shareholders by making long-term investments in a portfolio of assets having a profitable history record, with opportunities for long term capital growth. The Company does not focus on the sector issues for investment instead it focuses on the individual characteristics of the companies.

Brickworks Investment Company was established in 2003 to take over the assets of Brickworks Limited and to become a more specialised listed investment company. The Company listed on the ASX in 2003.
