Canada Land's (CDL) principal activities include the development and management of residential and commercial property in the transportation hub of Guangzhou in the People's Republic of China (PRC). Recently, it developed the area around Guangzhou to attract tourists, and following its success, CDL has become one of the largest real estate developers in that region.
CDL focuses on real estate operations situated in North America, Canada, Hong Kong and mainland China. It also has investments in a tourist attraction (Wong Tai Sin) in Guangzhou, China. WTS is an ongoing project with two phases. Phase 1 is already complete, while Phase 2 is expected to be complete in late 2005. In addition, major competitors of Canada Land (CDL) would be other financial diversified trusts on the market that focus on capital property growth in commercial, industrial and retail sectors. Customers would consist of businesses/companies (tenants) offering to lease the property, retail and car park spaces within the buildings of the property portfolio.
Canada Land Limited is engaged in investment holding and acting as a real estate agent. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2009 (fiscal 2009), the Company’s revenue was derived from the tourist attraction project segment. The Company operates in the People's Republic of China, including Mainland China and Hong Kong. As at March 31, 2009, the Company's projects that were completed included Regent House, Yi Fang Estate, Canview Building and Wong Tai Sin tourist attraction, an ongoing project with Phase 1 and Phase 2. Some of its subsidiaries include Champion Wins Enterprises Limited, Cantravel Limited, Silicon Limited and Honest Crest Limited.

Canada Land Limited (CDL) was found in 1972 by Dr. William Yip who has been appointed as the Chairman of the Company upon its establishment. Canada Land is an international organisation headquartered in Hong Kong with a successful history of real estate operations in North America, Canada, Hong Kong and mainland China. The Company has been listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 1994.

Canada Land Limited has now become one of the major developers of real estate and tourist attraction in Guangzhou, which has completed major projects, namely Regent House, Yi Fang Estate, Canview Building and Wong Tai Sin tourist attraction, an ongoing project with Phase 1 and Phase 2, is well located to the Guangzhou subway system and major arteries.
