CMA Corporation (CMV) is an integrated base metals recycling group and consists of CMA Recycling, CMA Ecosystem and CMA Contracting. CMA's main activities are the processing and recycling of predominantly scrap metal. The company also supplies and exports scrap metal, provides resource sector plant decommissioning, industrial demolition, site clearance and remediation of sites to the mining and heavy industrial sectors. CMA has over 31 recycling plants in Australia, Asia and North America. The Company’s major activities are metal recycling, and demolition and remediation contract services. It operates in two segments: Scrap Metal Trading Division, and Demolition and Remediation Contract Services Division. Scrap Metal Trading division trades in both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and its activities include the recovery, buying, processing, testing, analysis and selling of scrap metal in domestic and export scrap metal markets. The division also manufactures and sells metal ingots. The services of Demolition and Remediation Contract Services division include resource, industrial plant and marine deconstruction, large scale demolition and site clearance and remediation, as well as metals recovery. CMA has operations in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and United States.During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009 (fiscal 2009), the Company acquired Meretec Limited. CMA Corporation (CMV) operates in every Australian state and territory with the capacity to complete large-scale deconstruction projects. CMA has a network of over 31 recycling facilities in Australia, Asia and North America, which enables it to recycle all metals in yards all around the globe.
