Corum Group Limited (formerly Cosmos Limited) is an Australian-based IT company, specialising in payments and software applications. Cosmos's specialty products falls into three main areas: pharmacy software solutions, corporate payment solutions and real estate payment solutions. Corum Group integrated it operations with Amfac in 2004. It was listed on the Australian stock market in 1971, and its head office is located in Sydney. Investors can trade shares on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX).
The Company operates in three segments: Healthcare-the Corum Health Services business, which is a provider of dispense and point of sale software applications, hardware and support services to Australian pharmacies through its controlled entities, Pharmasol Pty Limited and Amfac Pty Limited; Transaction Processing, which offers individuals and businesses the opportunity to effect payment of their rent, utilities, local government fees and commercial obligations via electronic methodologies through its controlled entity, Corum eCommerce Pty Limited, and Training, which is a registered training organization, providing training services to the real estate industry through its controlled entity, Corum Training Pty Limited.
The company's Amfac and PharmaSol products are used by over 2000 pharmacies. One of its key products is Amfac Dispensing, a Windows®-integrated dispensing system. The system is the continued preference in teaching department in many Australian universities.
Corum's major customers include many Chemists and other pharmacies, Liquorland and Foodland, Sydney Eye Clinic and various real estate agents across Australia. Its competitors are other developers and providers of transaction processing equipment and services throughout Australia.
Corum’s strategy combines industry-specific expertise in consulting and technology with a consistent framework of strategic planning, commercial management and governance. A hands-on executive management team works actively in each company to audit processes, effect financial efficiencies, improve service standards and product offerings, and continually identify and exploit new opportunities.
