CSG (CSV) is an Information Technology and Communications (ITC) company that consists of 2 core business units which are IT Services and Print Services. IT Services provides a range of technology and software related services to Governments and businesses and while Print Services offers Xerox and other print related services to a range of customers.
CSG offers services through its three main business units: managed services, enterprise services and print services. The Managed services division is a provider of tailored outsourcing services to large Government and corporate organizations with a focus on services optimization. The Enterprise services division offers business and technology strategy to application development and systems integration. CSG Business centers are structured into the three key business divisions of voice, print and data to meet the technology needs of its customers. On August 1, 2008, the Company acquired ATI Group Pty Ltd, and on November 1, 2008, it acquired CingleVue Pty Ltd. In February 2010, the Company acquired Konica Minolta Business Solutions New Zealand Limited (KMBS) and Leasing Solutions Limited (LSL).
CSV is a leader in its major markets in Northern Territory, WA, and QLD. The company has alliances and subcontracts with blue-chip companies e.g. Microsoft, Fujitsu, Cisco Systems, Fuji Xerox which help provide a competitive advantage when securing contracts.
The ITC market ranges from First Tier businesses which encompass large multinationals, to Third Tier companies which are generally very small, niche service providers. Management of CSV has positioned the company in the upper end of the Second tier companies. This places them in competition with companies such as DWS Advanced Business Solutions and Oakton Limited. CSG's client base mainly consists of governments as well as small to medium enterprises.
CSG History
CSV started in 1988 as a Xerox Business Centre with a key objective to offer greater operational efficiencies than competitors in a variety of vertical markets. In 2001, it won its first infrastructure outsourcing contract with the NT Government, as a subcontract with Computer Sciences Corp. CSV now also provides services in Enterprise Applications and Document Management. CSV's head office is in Darwin, with other offices in QLD & WA. CSV listed on the ASX in April 2007.
