Cue Energy Resources (CUE) is a petroleum exploration company principally focused on the development, production and exploration of oil and gas in SE Asia, Australia and New Zealand. The Company holds a portfolio of petroleum assets in Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand. In Australia, the Company’s tenements are located in Bass Basin, Tasmania and Carnarvon Basin, Western Australia.
Cue Energy Resources listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) on 11th of December, 1995. CUE is also listed on the Port Moresby Stock Exchange (POMSoX) under the code CUE. The Company’s first gas production at Oyong, Indonesia is scheduled for 3Q09. CUE holds interests in a number of PNG projects with a combined resource of 221Bcf. The Company also holds a 20% interest in Cash-Maple, Timor Sea, with a resource of 120Bcf. CUE owns significant gas resources in Indonesia of approximately 24Bcf. It owns a 15% interest in the offshore Sampang Production Sharing Contract, situated in offshore east Java, Indonesia. Its Oil reserves totaled up to around 3.5Mb. The Company also holds large reserves in the Carnarvon Basin, North West Shelf.
The company is committed to growth as an oil and gas explorer and producer through the acquisition of high quality exploration properties, by undertaking attractive exploration and appraisal drilling activities and through the takeover of producing assets either directly or via corporate acquisitions. CUE’s objective is to maintain a lean, low-cost organization. CUE focuses on aggressive growth strategy through exploration success, development of oil and gas discoveries and acquisitions as well as maintaining a consistent regional focus.
