Western Minerals (WMI) became Adultshop in June 1999. In the same year it acquired Barbarellas (an adult retail chain) and Adult Communication Services (an adult phone service provider). In 2000-1 the company acquired adult distributors Calvista and Stell Bay, mail order business AXIS as well as the online adult entertainment business of Today`s Success.
