Diversified United Investment (DUI) is an investment company operating solely in Australia. The Company invests in a diversified portfolio of investments. DUI aims to improve its income and longer term capital gain within an acceptable level of risk. The Company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) on 19 December, 1991. As of June 30, 2008, the Company held a portfolio of 10 largest holdings comprising Woodside Petroleum Ltd, BHP Billiton Ltd, Rio Tinto Ltd, QBE Insurance Group Ltd, ANZ Banking Group Ltd, Commonwealth Bank of Australia Ltd, National Australia Bank Ltd, Westfield Group, CSL Ltd and Westpac Banking Corporation Ltd. DUI invests mainly in Australian equities, but it also makes investments in small holdings in international equities, fixed interest securities, listed property trusts and short term deposits. The Company holds a well diversified portfolio and its investment strategy focuses on medium- to long-term capital growth. The Company’s portfolio is primarily exposed to the Banking and Financial Services industry.
Diversified United Investment History
DUI was incorporated in Victoria in 1987 under the name Rambutten Holdings Ltd. It listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) in December 1991 and changed its name to Diversified United Investments.
