Hunter Hall International (HHL) is an ethical investment management company, whose fund management business is based on superior long term investment performance. HHL listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 28 February, 2001.
HHL is engaged in the operation of its fund management business via its controlled entity Hall Investment Management (HHIML). Hunter Hall Investment Management manages four retail equity funds which are; the Hunter Hall Value Growth Trust (VGT), the Hunter Hall Australian Value Trust (AVT), the Hunter Hall Global Ethical Trust (GET) and the Hunter Hall Global Deep Green Trust (GDG). HHIML also provides investment management services to Hunter Hall Global Value Limited (HHV) which is a listed investment company and to the Hunter Hall International Ethical Fund (IEF). As of June 30, 2008 HHIML held a stake of 46% in IEF. Hunter Hall Ethical Superannuation Fund (ESF) is a retail public offer superannuation fund designed to facilitate investment of superannuation savings in three of the four Hunter Hall retail trusts. The Trustee for the Hunter Hall Ethical Superannuation Fund (ESF) is Hunter Hall Superannuation Company Pty Limited (HHSC).
HHL seeks to create value for shareholders by making medium to long term investments in quality stocks in undervalued companies. Unlike other funds management companies Hunter Hall International’s investment policy focuses on ethical investments and charitable donations. HHL does not invest in companies that cause harm to people, animals or the environment. The Company distributes 5% of its pre-tax profits to charities that focus on providing protection to biodiversity.
Hunter Hall International History
HHL is an ethically based value oriented funds management company formed in 1993. It included an international equities fund in 1996. HHL floated on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2001. In 2003 HHL included an ethical super fund to its existing funds.
