Job Description
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Resolve and investigate failed trades and unmatched market trades
- Clearing settlement transactions via CHESS
- Process domestic and international equity trades
- Process Banking payments for non DVP settlement trades
- Follow up and respond to brokers and client queries
- Investigation, resolution and reporting of outstanding cash and stock breaks
- Liaising with clients, dealers, custodians, brokers and middle office teams, both domestic and offshore to follow up on outstanding settlement issues
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will have the following experience:
- 2 years experience within investment banking operations, within settlements and equities local markets
- Understand the importance of controls & procedures within the settlements division
- Ability to communicate effectively with business units and external clients
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high paced environment
- Strong knowledge of operational procedures and risk controls
