Kathmandu Sales Up


Outdoor clothing and camping company, Kathmandu (ASX:KMD) have seen its shares soar by 16 percent on Wednesday after the company announced that its performance in the six months to January 31 was "significantly ahead" of the same period last year. The company's sales were up between 16.3 to 18.2 percent delivering six-month revenues between $NZ124 million (A$95.7m) and $NZ126m. Same-store sales rose by between 8.9 per cent and 10.3 per cent.
