Novarise Renewable Resources International (NOE), a company based in China, is an integrated green producer of a range of polypropylene fibre-based products made from post-consumer polypropylene waste materials. Novarise has developed its own technology to utilise up to 100 per cent of recycled polypropylene waste to produce polypropylene filament yarn, and other finished products such as straps and rope. The company was listed on Australian stock market on 29 April, 2010.
Novarise currently employs approximately 480 people, whom are all located at the Company's production facility in Quanzhou, Fujian Province. The Company's proprietary technology enables the Company to use post-consumer polypropylene waste to produce fibre-grade recycled polypropylene pellets (instead of virgin polypropylene), and which are then used to produce a range of polypropylene fibre-based products (including polypropylene filament yarn and finished products such as polypropylene consumer webbing products and agricultural twine). Investors can trade Novarise Renewable Resources shares on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX).
PelletsThe polypropylene waste materials sourced by Novarise are mostly in the form of used CD cases, agricultural twine, safety nets, fishing nets, polypropylene yarn and polypropylene straps. The Company is currently able to use 18 different types of polypropylene waste, primarily sourced from overseas. Novarise is a leading producer of polypropylene filament yarn in China. Novarise has established a network of domestic and international customers and distributors to provide a sales presence in key geographic regions such as China, Hong Kong, The Philippines, India, Taiwan, Tunisia and Russia.
Since its incorporation in 1998, the Company has invested in advanced technology and industrial know-how. The Company is now focused on broadening the applications of its unique recycling technology. The Company believes it is well placed to strengthen its leading position and capitalise on the Company's green technology, given its technological advantages, its ability to recycle polypropylene waste materials, and its current product mix and emerging products.
