Oropa (ORP) is a mineral exploration Company principally engaged in the identification and development of resource projects in Australia, Africa and Asia, with a focus on creating maximum value for its shareholders. The Company was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 31st March, 1988.
Oropa's key projects include Pungkut gold project in Sumatra, Indonesia (earning 75%); Block D-7 and Raipur West diamond exploration projects in Chhattisgarh, India; Krishna River Delta and Krishna River Valley in Andhra Pradesh, India; Mzimba Northwest, Chitunde and Chinzani uranium exploration projects in Malawi, Africa; and Mulgabbie and Mt Keith gold projects in Australia.
Oropa has achieved significant exploration successes at its Pungkut Gold Project and it is presently focused on developing Pungkut to a mining stage. To date, three drilling programs (40 holes for 5,625 metres) at the Sihayo 1 North, Sihayo 2 and Sambung prospects have been completed by the Company which resulted in doubling of the inferred gold resource at Sihayo 1 North.

Oropa History
Oropa made its debut on the ASX on 31 March 1988 under the name Finders Gold NL (FIG). During 1998 and 1999 the Company’s focus was on the development of the Lanut gold project. In September 1999 it acquired a 19.9% interest in CEPO. The Company was renamed from Finders Gold NL to Oropa Limited (ORP) on 16 February 2000.
