Pacific Energy (PEA) is a small company formed for investment in infrastructure and mineral projects in either operation or development. PEA holds interests in a number of companies with projects in Australia, Asia and North America. The company listed on the Australian stockmarket (ASX) on 2 April 1987 as Arboyne NL (ARB). It changed its name to Pacific Nickel Limited (PNK) in 1997 and then changed its name to Pacific Energy Limited (PEA) in 1998.
Tilcon New York Inc has entered into a lease with Mount Hope Hydro Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Atlantic Pacific Infrastructure Limited, which in turn is a wholly owned subsidiary of PEA, for a site in New Jersey USA. Tilcon New York Inc, is a wholly owned subsidiary of CRH Plc, one of Europe's largest building material supply companies.Its customers cover a wide range of sectors, including mining, exploration and construction companies. It competes with other companies holding investments in mineral and infrastructure projects.
The KPS Power Generation includes the generation of electricity by diesel, gas and duel-fuelled generators at remote sites. The other operations include hydro power generation and the development of wood-fuelled biomass power stations in Neerabup, Western Australia and New Jersey, the United States. The Company’s subsidiaries include Pacific Energy (Victorian Hydro) Pty Ltd, Ausi Iron NL, Pacific Energy (Biomass) Pty Ltd, Pacific Energy (KPS) Pty Ltd, SpiritWest Bioenergy Pty Ltd, Project Global Limited, Atlantic Pacific Infrastructure Limited, Mt Hope Biomass LLC, Mt Hope Waterpower Project LP, Mt Hope Hydro Inc, SMC-DAG Inc, Trafalgar House Construction (Jersey) Ltd and Pt. Citra Ganesha Marga Nusantara (CGMN).
