Phileo Australia (PHI) is a focused property investor and is primarily involved in property investment and development in the state of Victoria. Hotel operation has commenced under Sequoia Management Pty Ltd, a 75% owned subsidiary company of PHI. PHI was listed on the Australian stockmarket (ASX) in April 1987. Its head office is situated in Melbourne, Victoria.

Phileo Australia has entered into a pre-lease agreement with TNT Logistics (Australia) Pty Ltd to develop a new warehouse and office facility for an initial tenancy period of five years. PHI holds an option to acquire a future project site at Kangaroo Grounds near Bendigo in Victoria for possible development.

Major competitors of Phileo would be other financial diversified trusts on the market that focus on capital property growth in commercial, industrial and retail sectors. Customers would consist of businesses/companies (tenants) offering to lease property, retail and car park spaces within the buildings of the property portfolio.

The Company’s subsidiaries include Phileo 303 Collins Pty Ltd, which is engaged in property holding; Sequoia Management Pty Ltd, which is engaged in hotel operation; Shuttlecrest Pty Ltd, which is engaged in property holding; Daleston Pty Ltd, which is engaged in property holding and crop cultivation, and Rocklea Homemaker Center Pty Ltd, which is dormant.
