Platinum Capital (PMC) is a closed-ended investment company principally focused on investing internationally into securities of other companies. PMC holds a portfolio of actively managed shares predominantly from Europe and Asia. Platinum Capital listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) on 29 June, 1994. PMC aims to seek long-term capital growth by making investment in undervalued securities. PMC's investments portfolio comprises regional sectors, including the Untied Kingdom, India, Korea, United States, Japan, France, Germany, Australia, Hong Kong and Brazil. The Company sources a large portion of its revenue from trading income such as short selling shares, indices and currencies. Unlike many listed investment companies Platinum Capital invests in a portfolio of international equities. PMC provides its investors having limited resources, with an access to a broad selection of international stocks. PMC is an active manager and uses a value based strategy.
