Programmed Maintenance Services (PRG) is engaged in the provision of staffing and maintenance services. PRG listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 1st October, 1999. The company operates more than 50 offices located in all capital cities and regional centres and employs over 2,000 personnel and tradespeople. Its annual revenue reaches up to $800 million. The Company focuses its development activities through four segments: Property Maintenance, Facilities Management, Workforce and Marine. The Property Maintenance segment offers maintenance services in respect of around 60,000 buildings and structures for in excess of 6,000 clients in the areas of commercial, industry, government and education across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. The Facilities Management segment is engaged in the provision of facility and infrastructure management services and consulting services regarding facilities management, procurement and asset management within Australia. The Workforce division provides recruitment and labour hire services to a number of sectors throughout Australia. The Marine division offers manning, project management and logistics solutions to offshore oil and gas industry across Australia and New Zealand. At the core of Company’s success are its highly skilled and experienced personnel, providing an extensive range of services to the customers. The Company has sound long term relationships with its customers and it is focused on growth by strengthening and developing its existing business together with seeking for new opportunities within Australia, New Zealand and worldwide.
Programmed Maintenance Services History
PRG commenced operations in Victoria as a commercial painting contractor in 1951. In 1993, it decided to diversify into a number of complementary maintenance businesses. Before being listed on the ASX in October 1999, Asia Pacific Trust (ATP), an investment fund managed by Schroder Venture Managers Ltd was the ultimate owner of the Company. In 2000, the company completed the takeover of the Whittle Painting Group in the UK in 2000.
