Red Fork Energy (RFE) is an oil and gas exploration company. It has acquired interests in a portfolio of 27 leases, covering approximately 4,160 acres in Osage County, Oklahoma, USA. Red Fork Energy was incorporated on 20 April 2004 and listed on the Australian stock market (ASX) on 31 October 2005.

Oklahoma is a prolific oil and gas producing state with significant infrastructure to support extraction. The Leases are in close proximity to gas lines. This infrastructure provides Red Fork with an opportunity to distribute gas toe established markets in the USA, if commercial quantities of gas are produced.

Most oil is sold into global spot markets, whilst gas is typically sold under long-term contract arrangements with utilities, large industrial users and steel plants. Key competitors include Rio Tinto, BHP, CH4 Gas Ltd (CHX) and Bounty Oil & Gas (BUY).

Company’s exploration and production activities and license interests held, and Australia, which is the location of the central management and control of Red Fork, including where company secretarial services, accounting and cash management operations are performed. Its subsidiaries include Red Fork (USA) Investment Inc. and East Oklahoma Pipeline LLC.
