Redflex Holdings (RDF) is leading provider of traffic management, road safety, defense, transport, security and communication products. It listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 20 January, 1997. The Company operates in Australia and US. RDF manages its systems engineering operations, system integration technologies and its Innovation Centre for research and development through its head office based in South Melbourne, Victoria. RDF is comprised of two distinct companies: Redflex Communications Systems and Redflex Traffic Systems. RDF is the owner and operator of one of the largest networks of digital speed and red-light cameras worldwide. It caters red light and speed photo enforcement systems and back office processing services to cities and other municipalities based in the United States through Redflex Traffic Systems Inc. Redflex Traffic Systems has agreements with over 80 cities in 11 countries throughout the world. The Company is pursuing development and marketing of traffic image processing applications and related traffic violation management systems and hardware through Redflex Traffic Systems Pty Ltd.
Redflex Holdings History
Redflex Holdings Ltd listed on ASX in January 1997. Since its listing on the ASX, RDF has won a number of contracts for providing its digital red light photo enforcement services and communications systems to government and corporations throughout the world. In 2003, the Company completed the acquisition of the assets of Poltech International Limited and Locktronic Pty Ltd.
