Regis Resources (RRL), formerly Johnson's Well Mining NL, is an exploration company primarily searching for gold, with tenements mainly in Australia. Key projects are located at Duketon, Rosemont and Melita in the Yilgarn Basin of Western Australia. Regis Resources NL changed its name from Johnson's Well Mining NL on 26 August, 2004. The company listed on the Australian stock market (ASX) on 19 February, 1987. The Company's exploration focus is gold through its exploration projects in the Duketon and Keith Kilkenny greenstone belts of the Eastern Goldfields in Western Australia.

RRL's major customers would include the retail, wholesale and international markets. Its competitors consist of other mining companies such as Range River (RNG). Most oil and metals are sold into the global spot markets, whilst gas, coal and iron ore is typically sold under long term contract arrangements with utilities, large industrial users and steel plants.

During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009 (fiscal 2009), aircore drilling at Collurabbie extended the Giles nickel-copper-platinum group elements (PGE) anomaly to 400-meter strike. Its subsidiaries include Duketon Resources Pty Ltd, Rosemont Gold Mines Pty Ltd and Artane Minerals N.L. During fiscal 2009, the Company acquired Artane Minerals N.L.
