It also provides secured and unsecured loans, and operates a number of corporate stores, trading under the Cash Converters name.
Biron Apparel Limited is an integrated apparel business, having acquired the Ed Harry men's apparel retail business and the women's apparel wholesale business, Physico Clothing Company. It was previously a specialist provider of finance for predominantly commercial real estate projects. BIC was listed on the ASX on 31 Jan 1990. Its head office is situated in Perth, Western Australia. In a change of strategic direction, BIC acquired the apparel retail businesses Ed Harry Group and Physico Clothing Company in 2005.
Noni B (NBL) is a pre-eminent specialist branded apparel Company. The Company retails women’s apparel and accessories under Noni B and Liz Jordan brands through its in excess of 200 stores throughout Australia. It listed on the Australian stockmarket (ASX) on 11 May, 2000.
OrotonGroup (ORL) is a leading Australian fashion brand manger. It is engaged in the retailing and wholesale of leather goods, fashion apparel and related accessories under the two leading premium brands, the Oroton and Polo Ralph Lauren in Australasia. A variety of fashion apparel is made available to customers through major retail outlets including the ORL’s own boutique brand outlets. ORL OrtonGroup listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 18th June, 1987. ORL’s headquarters is located in the inner city Sydney suburb of Waterloo and it employs circa 600 personnel.
Fantastic Holdings (FAN) manufactures, imports and retails household furniture for price-conscious customers in Australia. It listed on the ASX on 22nd September, 1999. Fantastic Holdings operates through five brands namely Fantastic Furniture, Plush, OMF, Dare Gallery, and LeCornu. Fantastic Furniture engages in the retailing of furniture offering a range of sofas, dining, entertainment, bedroom, occasional, storage and home office furniture.
Wotif.com Holdings (WTF) is an online travel agency providing online accommodation booking services to in excess of 45 countries worldwide with a primary focus on Australia and New Zealand. Every month more than 205,000 bookings are made through Company’s website. Wotif.com Holdings listed on the ASX on 2nd June, 2006. The Company operates through its offices in Australia, Canada, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore and the United Kingdom, with its head office located in Brisbane.
Warehouse Group (WHS) is a retailer of general merchandise and stationery with operations in New Zealand. The Company retails an extensive range of products ranging from apparel, entertainment, technology and music to sporting, gardening, grocery and several others. These products are made available to customers through the Company’s chain of stores in Australasia. The warehouse Group listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 20 November, 2000. WHS operates a network of 85 chain stores and 43 stationery stores throughout New Zealand with around 8,500 people employed in the Company.
Vita Group (VTG) specialises in the retailing of electronics and telecommunications equipment. The mobile phones, accessories and other related services offered by VTG are made available to customers through its 123 stores. Vita Group also manages a network of 22 nominated dealers operating 31 retail outlets. The Company retails its telecommunications equipment and related products through Fone Zone and One Zero stores, while Apple computers and other Apple products are sold through its Next Byte stores located across the metropolitan and regional areas of Australia.
Danks Holdings (DKS) is the Australia’s largest independent hardware wholesale distributor. The core business operations of the Company include the wholesale distribution of hardware and garden products. The Company through its HoME Timber and Hardware, Thrifty-Link Hardware and Plants Plus Garden Centre retail brands, including a further 1,500 independent retailers is providing services to in excess of 700 independently owned and operated retail businesses. Danks Holdings listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 1 January, 1974.
