Rubicon America Trust (RAT) is a property investment trust. The Trust invests in a diversified portfolio of commercial real estate (CRE) properties and loans in the United States. Rubicon America Trust listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 6 December, 2004. The responsible entity for the trust is Asset Management Limited. Rubicon America Trust makes investments in US real estate through its subsidiary, the US REIT which is US real estate investment trust. On January 8, 2007, a 100% owned subsidiary of the trust, Rubicon Finance America acquired an initial portfolio of 32 United States real estate asset-backed mezzanine loans. The Trust aims to develop a low risk diversified portfolio of properties, with a focus on modern and functional buildings offering high credit quality tenants and long lease time period. The trust is focused on providing its investors with an access to a quality portfolio of US based properties, offering high income yields and the potential for capital growth.
