Saint Istvan Gold (SVG), formerly known as Optima ICM (OPI), is a manufacturer and supplier of personal computers, notebooks and servers to retail, education and government markets throughout Australia. SVG also offers hardware and system support. Its core business areas are managed services, consulting services, desktop and network support, deployment and manufacturing value-added services. The foundations of Optima ICM Limited were built in 1989 when Optima Computer Technology Pty Ltd first commenced trading in the assembly and distribution of desktop and notebook computers and file servers. The company was listed on Australian stock market on 14 December, 1999. The company changed its name in March 2002 from Iocom Limited (ICM) to Optima ICM Limited (OPI) and to Saint Istvan Gold (SVG) in October 2009.
SVG benefits from active partnerships with leading vendors such as; Microsoft, (Microsoft Solution Provider); IBM, (IBM Business Partner); Hewlett Packard, (HP Server Specialist); Citrix, (Gold Level Server-Based-Computing Engineering specialist); Novell, (Novell Corporate Services Partnership); and Cisco (Cisco Certified Engineers).
SVG's clients range from blue-chip companies to SMEs and government organisations. Its existing clients are drawn from the full spectrum of industry sectors, from pharmaceuticals and transportation to manufacturing, financial services, insurance and engineering. SVG is the preferred supplier of desktops for the Departments of Education and Training in NSW, Qld, and Vic.
