SPDR S&P/ ASX 50 Fund (SFY) is an exchange-traded fund (ETF). The fund invests in a diversified portfolio of 50 leading Australian securities by market capitalisation in order to replicate the income of the S&P/ASX 50 Index. SPDR S&P/ ASX 50 Fund commenced operations in 2001. It listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 27 August, 2001. SPDR S&P/ ASX 50 Fund is managed by State Street Global Advisors, Australia Services Limited (SSgA), which is the responsible entity for the fund.
