SmartTrans Holdings (SMA) is a provider of intelligent transport solutions to many small and large organisations. The product range includes GPS tracking, route optimisation, in-vehicle navigation, and proof of delivery/automated field service products. The company also has several mineral exploration projects in Australia.
Coolgardie Gold N.L. was incorporated in 1983 and listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) in 1984. Coolgardie commenced production of gold in 1987. The company acquired 20% equity in SmartTrans Limited in 1999 and moved to 100% ownership in 2000. The company has retained its gold and base metals exploration tenements in Queensland, but changed it's name and status to “SmartTrans Holdings Limited” in 2001. SmartTrans is listed on the Australian stock market.
SmartTrans is a leading developer of intelligent vehicle management solutions. SmartTrans' complete solution of delivery optimisation, mobiel data and GPS services is unique in the Australian marketplace.
SmartTrans customers include both corporate and government clients. They include: Streets Unilever, Toll Logistics, Fairfax, Amcor Recycling, Austral Bricks, Boral Bricks, and Palm Springs. Its main competitors are other providers of transport solutions for businesses. The Company’s projects include Riversleigh Base Metals Project, Mount Mackenzie Project, Waitara Project and Marlborough Fault Project.
