Australian Power and Gas Company (APK) is a retail power and gas utility provider. The company was formerly known as Microview Limited (MVL), a global document solutions provider, and has been in operation since 1981. In November 2006, the company changed its name to Australian Power and Gas Company and the nature of its business is that it is an energy provider. The Company has a gas transmission pipelines infrastructure spread all over Australia and a gas distribution network in south east Queensland and northern New South Wales. The Company provides the sale of transportation and related services to the producers, clients and aggregators of gas via these gas transmission and distribution pipelines.
Advanced Energy Systems (AES) is an Australian based company engaged in research, development and marketing of renewable energy products with a particular focus on solar energy. Advanced Energy Systems was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 13 October, 2000. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2007, the Advanced Energy Systems did not perform any operations as the company and its controlled entities were under administration under Part 5 of the Corporations Act 2001. The Company intends to carry out the business it was previously involved in prior to entering administration.
Envestra Limited (ENV) is an Australia-based company engaged in the ownership of gas reticulation assets. It provides its retailers with natural gas haulage services through the distribution networks as well as the transmission pipelines it owns and it manages. Envestra Limited distributes natural gas to more than 900,000 consumers in different regions in Australia such as Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Northern Territory and New South Wales. ENV was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on the 29th of August 1997.
Energy Development (ENE) is a company engaged in the ownership, development and operation of power transmission, waste-to-energy conversion and power generation projects. It owns and manages a portfolio of 64 power stations and power generation facilities in Asia, Australia, Europe and the US. ENE was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on the 10th of November 1993. Its average annual revenue reaches approximately $176 million out of its issued capital of $329 million. Its headquarters is located in Queensland, Australia.
Formerly called the Australian Gas Light Company, the AGL Energy Limited (AGK) is an Australian-based integrated energy company engaged in the sales of electricity and gas, energy processing infrastructure, power generation, natural gas production facilities development, extraction, exploration, coal seam methane gas (CSM) production and sales, of liquid petroleum gas (LPG) extraction and sales and crude oil extraction and sales. AGK was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on the 12th of October 2006. Its average annual revenue reaches approximately $3 billion.
