Australian Stock Exchange analyst Macquarie Research Equities have provided a special Water Report: Water is a hot topic right now, and its scarcity has ensured that it's also fast becoming a tradable commodity. The global water industry is now the fastest growing industry in the world today in terms of new public equity capitalisation coming into investor's hands. On the back of this, the analysts believe the demand for water infrastructure assets will accelerate, particularly those providing water treatment facilities, desalination and fresh water supplies to urban centres.
