Ampella Mining (AMX) is a mineral exploration company mainly focused on the exploration and development of gold and zinc deposits in Birimian stratigraphy of Burkina Faso. Burkina Faso is located in the north of Ghana, West Africa. The Company was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 13 August, 2007. Ampella has four secured tenements spanning an aggregate area of 937 square kilometers. Its Doulnia Project consists of a single granted exploration permit which covers a combined area of 247 square kilometers. The Doulnia project is situated 150 kilometers south-southeast of Ouagadougou.
