Transpacific Industries Sued for $4.6m By Founder


Shares of waste management company Transpacific Industries Group (TPI) rose by 0.5 cents to 80.5 cents today after its former founder and executive chairman Terry Peabody filed a legal action to the company claiming $4.6 million of damages yesterday. Peabody is suing his former company regarding its equity raising.

Qantas Engineers Plan Wrong-Handed Action


Aircraft engineers will turn to wrong-handed tactics in their latest volley in the war with Qantas (ASX:QAN). Veteran union members Wesley Bell and Vinko Vulin pledged they will maintain Qantas' planes using only their left hand for screwdrivers and spanners.

Shareholders Plan to Sue B&B


Shareholders of Babcock & Brown Power (BBP), the largest wind power producer of Australia are planning to file a lawsuit for misleading and deceptive behaviour. The outburst came after the announcement made by B&B, parent of BBP, about refinancing, after the acquisition of Alinta (ALN), an Australian energy infrastructure company.
