Domino's Pizza Enterprises (DMP) is in the business of food retailing and the operation of franchise services. DMP operates a pizza chain including both franchisee owned and company owned corporate stores in Australia and New Zealand. The Company also operates franchise for Domino’s brand of the US Company, Domino's Pizza. It listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 16 May, 2005. DMP comprises three business divisions: corporate, franchise and corporate development.

Dominoes Half Year $14m Profit


Pizza franchise operator, Domino's Pizza Enterprises (ASX:DMP) have released its first half profits to the Australian sharemarket.

  • Dominoes made a $14 million Net Profit for the 6 months to December 31, up 15.7 percent on the previous year.
  • Same store sales growth slowed at 1.5 percent, compared with 8.4 percent on the previous corresponding period.

Domino's Will Ramp Up Digital Business


After posting a profit spike, Domino's Pizza Enterprises (ASX:DMP) is preparing to ramp up online and mobile ordering, with 60 percent of company revenue in the next 2 1/2 years to come from the digital business.

More than 40 percent of sales already come from online and mobile local pizza orders, which made $152 million for 2011. This is a 44 percent increase on 2010's results.

Share registry services provider Computershare Ltd's (ASX:CPU) full year profit fell by 10.4 percent while net profit dropped to $264.09 million for the 12 months to June 30 from $294.76 million last year. Revenue was flat from the previous year at $1.604 billion. ComputerShare declared final dividend of 14 cents per share, 60 per cent franked, unchanged from last year.
