Base Metals (BSM) is an Australian mineral explorer with advanced gold and copper projects located in the Mt Read Volcanic belt of NW Tasmania. The company has two main advanced prospects: the S-Lens copper resource and the Mt Charter gold and silver deposits. BSM was incorporated on 7 July 2004 as a mineral exploration company and listed on the ASX in October 2005. The company changed its name form Resource Finance and Investments Limited (RFI) to Bass Metals Limited (BSM) in January 2006.
